The 10th Biennale of Architecture

Sunday 10th September sees the opening of the 10th Architecture Biennale in Venice. The Architecture Biennale is the Olympics of the architecture world with over 50 countries exhibiting the freshest and best ideas in architecture. Thousands of visitors and architects from around the world will visit the exhibition which is open until 19 November.

The theme for this year’s Architecture Biennale is Cities and Social Dynamics and the British Pavilion exhibition is called Echo City. Curated by Jeremy Till and a team of Sheffield based architects and designers, Echo City explores the ways in which Sheffield engages with different audiences, from the individual to the world and on how a city inspires love, loyalty and creativity in its inhabitants almost in spite of its architecture.

For more information about Echo City please download the press release.
